Often, if we’re called early. We check the recycle bin, cloud versions and existing backups.
Do you recover data from failed drives?
No. We don’t open or repair drives. If a drive has failed, we’ll refer you to a specialist data recovery lab.
Do businesses need something different?
Yes. Business files and email should be backed up separately from Microsoft 365 or Google, with regular checks.
How often should backups run?
Automatically, at least daily for business files and regularly for home photos and documents. We set it up so you don’t have to remember.
How do I know my backup is working?
We test it after setup and show you how to check it’s running. For businesses, we can check backups regularly as part of ongoing support.
